I AM Patterns Gaston Jacket
Buy the Gaston Jacket sewing pattern from I AM Patterns. I am a jersey jacket with six versions, both classic and casual. I can be sewn with a shirt collar or with a simple round neckline. You can choose to make me with large patch pockets, welt pockets or without pockets. I fasten with five press-studs. I have a facing on the inside for a clean finish, and long fitted sleeves that are finished with a single folded hem.
This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Fabric requirements:
A, B and C: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 160 - 200 cm (1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd) // 110 cm (43") wide fabric: 225 - 240 cm (2 1/2 - 2 5/8 yd).
D, E and F: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 155 - 195 cm (1 3/4 - 2 1/8 yd) // 110 cm (43") wide fabric: 215 - 225 cm (2 3/8 - 2 1/2 yd).
Sizing: EU 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
This pattern is drafted for a height of 5’5″ and a B cup.
Notions: Five 15 mm (5/8") snap fasteners // For welt pockets: interfacing, 20 cm x 40 cm (8" x 16") // Optional: 4.5 m (5 yd) of 1 cm (3/8") bias binding to finish welt pockets, assembled facing and bottom of garment.
