Suggested fabrics:
Primary fabric: Use a medium weight knit fabric such as jersey, loop back French terry, or interlock, ensuring it has elastane or spandex for good recovery and offers 50% horizontal stretch.
Contrast fabric: Use rib knit or cuff material with very good recovery. The primary fabric can also be used.
Fabric requirements:
Primary fabric: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: Short length, 1 3/8 - 2 1/8 yd (130 - 200 cm) // Hip length, 1 1/2 - 2 3/8 yd (140 - 220 cm).
Contrast fabric: 43" (110 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (40 cm).
Sizing: US 00 – 40 with regular and full bust options (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
A note from the designer about bust options: To determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full bust front pieces, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3" (7.5 cm) or less, use the regular bust. If the rounded difference is more than 3" (7.5 cm), use the full bust.
Notions: Lightweight knit tricot fusible interfacing; 15" (38 cm) of 1/2" (1.25 cm)-wide straight fusible stay tape (or cut your own using lightweight woven fusible interfacing on the straight grain); one 8" (20 cm) metal or nylon/plastic zipper with a total zipper tape width of 1" (2.5 cm).
PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (36 pages for sizes 00-20, 46 pages for sizes 16-40); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes 00-20, 3 sheets for sizes 16-40) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.
