Named Asteri Button-down Dress and Vest
Buy the Asteri Button-down Dress and Vest sewing pattern from Named. The Asteri pattern includes two options: an elegant sleeveless midi dress and a stylish vest top. Both are unlined and feature a princess cut, V-neck, and button front.
The dress has discreet in-seam side pockets. Waist pleats give volume to the dress's pencil skirt, while the split back hem ensures comfort.
The vest features distinctive patch pockets on the hips, and has a buckled tab at the back waist for adjusting ease.

Suggested fabrics: For either variation, choose a light to medium-weight non-stretch fabric with low drape. Avoid heavy fabrics, as they make the garment more difficult to sew. Various linen and cotton fabrics are well suited to this garment.
Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.
Dress: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 170 - 240 cm (1 7/8 - 2 5/8 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 225 - 335 cm (2 1/2 - 3 5/8 yd).
Vest: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 110 - 175 cm (1 1/4 - 1 7/8 yd) // 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 155 - 210 cm (1 3/4 - 2 1/4 yd).
