Buy the S9730 Layering Slips/Skirt sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for a beginner/advanced beginner dressmaker. Easy pull-on slips with elasticated waistlines are designed to layer underneath tops, sweaters, tunics and dresses for modesty and style. Mini length slips can have lace trim or mock placket with button trim and shirttail hem variations. A-line slips have ruffles at knee or below knee length.

Suggested fabrics: A,D,E in lightweight cotton, voile, batiste, handkerchief linen, challis, rayon blends. B,C: Cotton types, linen types, flannel, gingham, seersucker.

Sizing: A (S-M-L-XL-XXL), which is approx. UK sizes A (6/8 – 22). based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C,D,E: 1 1/2 yds. (1.4m) of 3/4" (2cm) elastic. Also for A: 4 yds. (3.6m) of 2" (5cm) lace trim. B,C: three 1/2" (3cm) button.
