Buy the S9647 Trousers and Shorts sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Trousers in two lengths or shorts. All views have front fly and slash pockets. Views A and B have wide cuffs; View C is finished with an invisible hem. View D is shorts.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton Blends, Gabardine, Linen Blends, Stretch Wovens, Twill, Wool Blends. Lining (Pockets): Polyester Lining, Lining Fabric. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14) R5 (14-16-18-20-22), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), R5 (10– 18/20) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C,D: One 5/8" (1.5cm) button, one 7" (18cm) zipper (adjust to fit).
