The Assembly Line Poncho Shirt

Buy the Poncho Shirt sewing pattern from The Assembly Line. The Poncho Shirt combines the style of a classic shirt with the relaxed fit of a poncho! Designed as a half-circle shirt with a flowing silhouette, it is sewn together at the shoulders and under the arms. It features a collar and traditional button closure. Customise it with a panel or frill for added flair.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight fabric. The check set is made from a lightweight wool fabric. The white and blue shirts are made from shirting fabric.

Fabric requirements: 

110-120 cm wide fabric: S 1.4 m / L N/A / 3XL N/A.

140-150 cm wide fabric: S 1.2 m / L 1.3 m / 3XL 1.4 m.

For a panel or frill, add 0.3 m.

Sizing: S / L / 3XL, fitting XS – 3XL (approx. UK 8 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Fusible interfacing; shirt buttons, approx. 10 mm diameter, 6 for S or 7 for L-3XL.
