The Sewing Workshop e-Vest

Buy the eVest sewing pattern from The Sewing Workshop. This loose-fitting vest has soft fold-back lapels and an angled front drape (the wrong side of the fabric shows). Options for hemming or binding the edges are included in the pattern.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Drapey fabrics in wovens and knits. The wrong side of the fabric shows.

Fabric requirements: 

Vest: 45″/60" (114/152 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 yd (1.6 m).

Additional to make bias binding for all edges: 45″/60" (114/152 cm) wide fabric: 1 yd (0.9 m).

Sizing: 1 - 3 (Bust: 31" - 48").

Notions: Thread.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; print-at-home pattern (15 pages); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (1 sheet); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).

Note: The measurements in the instructions are in yards and inches only.
