Grainline Studio Scout Tee

Buy the Scout Tee sewing pattern from Grainline Studio. The Scout is a woven t-shirt with cap sleeves and scoop neck. It's fitted at the shoulders and falls into a more relaxed shape below the bust. Perfect on its own for spring and summer and a great layering piece under blazers and cardigans the rest of the year.

What we think: This is what Grainline does best - simple clean shapes that you want to make again and again. For a casual look why not use a chambray or ikat, and for a more dressed up look perhaps a crepe.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium-light weight fabrics such as cotton, silk, lawn, voile, charmeuse, crepe de chine, or wool crepe.

Fabric requirements: Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes, or one-way design fabrics.

Sizes 0 - 18: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 1 2/3 - 1 7/8 yd (1.6 - 1.8 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 1 5/8 - 1 3/4 yd (1.5 - 1.7 m).

Sizes 14 - 30: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/8 - 2 1/2 yd (1.8 - 2.2 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 2 1/4 yd (1.7 - 2 m).

Sizing: US 0 - 18 (approx. UK 8 - 18, based on our standardised size chart) or US 14 - 30 (approx. UK 16 - 30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size charts and finished garment measurements.

The 0 - 18 size range is drafted for a B sewing cup size. The 14 - 30 size range is drafted for a D sewing cup size. Both size ranges are drafted for a height of 5'5".
